Stream of Consciousness

Today I got through about 1/3 of the to do list I need to finish by Saturday. The 7 loads of clean laundry waiting to be folded are still looming over my head. Yesterday Atticus argued with a 4 year old in the play area at the mall that the horse she was sitting on was a Dinosaur. He would walk up and say "Dinosaur". She'd say "No, it's a horse". He would run away then come back and say 'Dinosaur'. She would respond the same. This went on for about 10 minutes. It was too cute. By the way...he calls all land animals dinosaur, all water animals duck. And he can say most of the animal names and sounds. Guess he just likes to say those more. Lyric is turning 3 in a little over a week. I can't believe I'm gunna be a mom to a 3 year old! Life is crazy at the moment for us. We have company every other week from now til Mid April. Then...I'm gunna go to Colorado for a weekend on my own! To see my friends that I miss so much. I'm excited for the cupcakes I'm making for Lyric's little family party on Saturday. I'm venturing away from my traditional carrot cake. I need to do my biblestudy homework. I'm so behind! That and I gotta get some reading in this week towards my book list of the year. I'm currently reading Nights in Rodanthe by Nicholas Sparks. I've been doing some 'easy reading' this month but I want to add some harder reads to the list again. I have a book ordered I'm excited to read called 'Shepherding the Heart of your Child'. I'm so ready for spring! I need to write a newsletter badly. Ian is finally starting his own company and it's lots of work...but it's very good to see him doing it. He's so talented. My house is clean and I am happy about that. I feel it's past time I got another tattoo. I wish Whole Foods was closer to my house. I am trying to find a 'mom's day out' for my so very social almost 3 year old daughter who says hi to every person in every store we go into. It's a daunting task. It is also incentive to potty train her. Better get to that laundry before it gets to late. There goes an hour of my life!
