Last week I was looking for a new cookie recipe. I had gotten some Gharadhelli's all natural white chocolate chips on sale at Target for $1.75 (normally they're closer to $3) but I wanted sometime different than just white chocolate chip cookies.
That's when I found our new favorite cookie ever...so I wanted to share this recipe with you.
White Chocolate Chip Craisin Cookies
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 Tablespoon vanilla
1 cup craisins (I actually buy the target brand or wal mart brand dried cranberries)
1 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1 cups chopped pecans (optional...Ian doesn't like nuts so we opted out. I think they would be even better with nuts)
Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly add to butter mixture until well mixed. Stir in white chocolate chips, craisins and nuts (optional)
Drop in small rounded spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. YUM! Be warned...they won't last long!
