Reflections

This is my 3rd Mothers Day.

My 1st was when my daughter was 2 1/2 months old.

My 2nd was when my daughter was 14 months and I was 2 months pregnant with my son.

My 3rd was today...my daughter turned 2 in March and my son is 5 months old.

Motherhood with it's difficult moments and challenging learning curves is a beautiful treasure. I cannot compare it and would not trade it for ANYTHING in the world. I wrote the following simple words...reflecting on being mommy to my two small children.

On Being A Mommy....
sticky hands and messy faces
pee on floor and other places
goofy grins and sloppy kisses
piles of laundry, loads of dishes

toys and diapers everywhere
words of wisdom? PLEASE! Do share!
lack of sleep n nighttime feedings
books, more books for constant reading

lots of hugs and ‘I love you”
snotty noses and the flu
lack of quiet, constant chatter
little feet go pitter patter

treasured moments, priceless come
tickles, laughter and endless fun
annoyances and trials quickly fade
being a mommy, for this I was made
