Not Me Monday!

I did NOT on Friday contemplate what I was feeding my daughter for lunch. This came to my attention because I realized that I was NOT feeding her yogurt and fruit and granola bars for quite possibly the 3 day in a row. I am always imaginative and creative with our lunches, giving her variety, and letting her try new things. I do NOT just opt to give her food I know she’ll eat and opt out of a potential war over something she doesn’t like. That would be somewhat backwards parenting and I would NOT do that. Nope, NOT me!


I did NOT ignore the fact we are moving in 10 days ALL WEEK! I did NOT justify having a relaxing week because my husband was away all week enjoying himself. My week I did not look like me going to the libarary on Wednesday morning and finishing 3 entire books by Saturday night. That would mean I must have ignored a multitude of things that were staring at me from my to do list on the table. I could NOT do something like that. Nope, Not me!


I was NOT so tired one night this week that I decided on Tuna fish sandwiches for dinner. They were NOT the only food I ate all day besides breakfast. And they most definitely did NOT taste like the best meal I’d ever eaten!


On Thursday night I was NOT so very very excited to go to our friends and watch So You Think you Can Dance. My next door neighbor and one of my closest (and very pregnant) friends caught a ride with us. I was NOT in the kitchen getting milk for Lyric during a commercial break when I did NOT hear my very pregnant friend yell “Petra! My water just broke!” That would be super crazy! We did NOT jump in the car and rush home. She did NOT have the baby less than 2 hours later (planned homebirth). I was NOT and am NOT still very jealous of a labor and delivery like that. Nope, Not me!


I am NOT moving next Tuesday. I am NOT stressing! I am NOT annoyed that this is the 4th time we’ve packed up and moved in the last 2 ½ years! Nope Not me!
